Adam Beraxa's new release of Plus/4 Saver!
Posted by MIK on 2001-12-16
Wishing everyone a merry and happy Xmas Adam has released V3.2 of his neat Plus/4 Saver. This time .WAV support has been replaced for .MP3 format! Not only is this more usefull for recording Plus4 samples, but you can take things back in time even more by adding your fav hits of the 80's to load of plus/4 images! With the likes of New Order's Blue Monday pumping away the only thing that is missing is your old bedroom and the easy life of being waited on hand and foot ;-) Adam has also added a number of cool effects from page curls to zoom's, what more could you ask for :-) Many thanks to Adam Beraxa yet again. Happy Xmas dude!

Plus/4 Saver Version 3 is here!
Posted by MIK on 2001-10-28
Wow! If you haven't downloaded this neat Screen Saver then now is the time!! This version has been updated with the most wanted JPEG and WAV support which in turn will bring your savers ideas to life. What is so cool is you can forget about it ever being there and out of the blue memories of the past come rushing back when the saver kicks in =) Many thanks to Adam Beraxa for his work once again!

Once Adam added sound support to his Plus/4 Saver I couldn't help myself and just had to make up the Terra Nova title screen. Now how do I press the fire button? =)

An Introduction To Basic - Part 1
Posted by MIK on 2001-10-13
For many Commodore 16 owners out there these programs held on 2 cassettes would have been the very first things you loaded up! As you may or may not know these 2 tapes along with a large manual (almost the size of the C16) made up the C16 Starter Pack. Even 17 years on these programs are still fun and a great reminder of just how much you may of forgotten =) All the programs are in .TAP format and have also been saved as single files.

An Introduction To Basic Part 1
Tape 1.tap 363k
Tape 2.tap 451k

C16.de Updated!!
Posted by MIK on 2001-09-17
The Team have now added last weeks release of WinEMU 0.50 to their site for downloading. You can also find some info about copying D64 files back onto floppys and TAP images back onto real audio cassettes for use on the real machines!

I'd be very intrested to know if anyone does copy any TAP images back onto tape just how they got on. At a guess I would try some of the Mastertroinc games first because these were the easyest and very first games we made into TAP images (those with normal NOVALOAD turbo's). Anyways head on over to their homepage for the full story by clicking the link below:
