Puffers? Gliders? Guns? What they're really talked about? Of course, those are some patterns which can occur, unexpectedly or not, while playing a session of the ultimate concept of math beauty ever: the Conway's Game Of Life!
In order to have a test run on the "C64 Studio" IDE, Marek "Mkarcz" Karcz, has just finished to code his own version of 'game of life' on Commodore 64, in less than 4Kb, read anything about his work in the dedicated blog page here. It's a pretty neat implementation, with fullscreen display and I/O feature to store the most notable sequences. "Let the C16 have it too!", that's what Luca/FIRE said! And that's the reason why now you can enjoy it on C16 too, with its set of archived patterns.
Enjoy the beautiness of life, death and what lies inbetween. On C16! |
