Magazine Quotes
Compete in the six thrilling events:
Biathlon, Bobsled, Ski Jump, Slalom, Downhill and Speed Skating. The events start with opening ceremony accompanied by thrilling music.
One to four players can select the country they wish to represent. The events with some of the most stunning graphics seen on C16 provide a perfect backdrop as the chase for medals progresses. TURBO LOAD ensures that you do not get a chance to cool down between the events. Joystick required.

Quotes:
One of the best sports simulations around and the only one worth buying for C16.
Rated 9 Commodore User.

A nifty simulation and a must for all C16 and +4 owners.

Different Prerelease Graphics
The earlier advertisement material of Winter Events includes screenshots of the events which look very different compared to the same games as seen on the final release.

The Winter Demo that can be loaded just after Space Pilot on the same tape, actually shows two mockups representing the early screens for Biathlon and Bobsled events, and a third screen, related to Ski Jump, can be seen on the full cover of the same game. Some additional official mockups have been found in the Kingsoft Promo Disks 1 and 2, representing the actual picture of the Ski Jump's early version, and a differently coloured one for the opening ceremony too, in which the torchbearer is directed to the right side of the screen (as seen in German Advertisement September 1986).

Some different advertisements did follow on the magazines, this time including the actual game's screenshots. Nonetheless, still in October 1986 Slalom and Downhill events have been represented with the following screen, very different from the final one.

All the ANCO releases and advert show a main menu lacking of the "Number of Players" option on top of the options' list.
