In other words, someone bought the C= name, and is building yet another "gaming" PC
Not impressed....

Last I heard "http://www.yeahronimo.com/" bought it from Tulip. Click the link to go to CommodoreGaming.com. It's weird seeing a screen like that, I'd think something like XeO3 will be released I'm actually a bit curious about what these machines will do. Are they going to pre-install emulators on them or something? Or just "gaming" PCs?

Oh dear, I'm a bit scared, another zombie passage for our beloved C= mark. And this time with a lame Space Invader stuff, that's like saying:"All the retro belongs to us"!. Saaaad

Ain't that the Atari 2600-Sprite? Oh dear...
I think this is only the next chapter from the unfinished book: "unholy brand trafficking". It's been a stab in the heart to see what happened to Amiga, i really don't like to see that happen to the C= brand too. The only product available that i would tolerate to have the C= brand is the DTV.

The company was featured in the local Amsterdam newspaper, because they're Dutch. Apparently they have bought out an "empty" Nasdaq enlisted company (that's Yeahronimo). It's still not totally clear to me what they're up to... it seems as if they're not sure themselves either.
Csabo: why is this offtopic? :-)

Sure the sprite could be wrong, but LOOK AT THE FONT!!! IT'S THE COMMODORE FONT!!!
So everybody already dreads this? I don't have much hopes for it either, but at least I'm curious...
Gaia: it ain't about the Plus/4, is it?

I'm quite surprised how many horrible actions you can do with a brand...

At least the Commodore Gaming team has a sense of humor (or humour if you're in the UK).
Take a look at their Site Map and Contact Us pages.
I'd consider one of these, if nothing else than to p*ss off the ex-wife.

Hrmmmm....... is Commodore Gaming monitoring things?
I posted a blog entry on my MySpace page, saying "Commodore is back!" and giving the link to www.CommodoreGames.com. The blogpost specifically said that I did this to upset my ex-wife, just as I said in the previous post here.
Not even two hours later, that blog entry had a hit from 62.131.133.101, which reverses back to Amsterdam.
Coincedence?

With all respect: I'm reading the mentioning of your ex-wife one time too often. Is it possible your ex-wife moved to amsterdam, founded a company, did the buy-out for the commodore brand and is now torturing all of us with these embarrassing Wintel-PC's ? If so, you should have a talk....

Nah.... if she had that kind of money, I wouldn't have divorced her.
And I do have a tendency to talk too much. Sorry about that.

Damn! I thought we might be close to find the one to blame for this debacle...
Anyway: My heart's bleeding. If this machine would be at least a PPC/Cell-based hardware i would say: Ok, they were *trying*. But this way its like putting oil and water together: it won't mix.
