| | It was once before long, long time... | We wrote the year 1985. At the tender age of 13 years, I read an advertising article from the big german supermarket ALDI in the daily newspaper:
"Commodore Computer-Lernkurs (C16 + Datasette + Books + Basic-Kurs) for 150,- DM"
There I begged immediately my parents, to give me, nevertheless, the money for this/my first computer...and they really said YES - thus my destiny was sealed! ;-)
I typed my first games (Shaolin & Jumping Joe) - together with my best buddy - from the magazine COMPUTE MIT.
Then, with a little bit saved pocket money, I could also buy myself some MASTERTRONIC games... :-)
Later I founded with my best friends the group S.S.S. - The Secret Software Service, with the members The Spider, G.I. Joe, The Ninja (AB) and Shadow-Warrior (that's me).
Today I collect actually everything what belongs to the Commodore C16, Plus4 & Co. - but also the rest of the big Commodore family (C64/C128, VIC-20, AMIGA, etc.) has found a place in my heart! |
