 Forum posting changes

You can now use the formatting tags as <b>, <B>, [b] or [B]. The <pre> tag is also allowed, this helps us keep the formatting when posting code. URLs are finally implemented. Enclose your url with [url] and [/url] tags. If the URL is valid, it will become a real hyperlink. Enjoy!

@Csabo
There was a possibility if I remember correctly to autolink program pages. Could you please explain how? Thanks!

You put the literal name of the file between two pairs of parenthesis, like this: [[filename]]. That's it. Did you know there's a rather good search option, too? :-)

 Re: Forum posting changes

Right, like Gaia said. Put any text in double square brackets. It works for: software, members, groups, tools, knowledge base entries and publications (in that order). E.g. if you do [[Aliens]], it find the software first, not the group.

Examples:
[[Adventure Building System]] --> Adventure Building System
[[Rachy]] --> Rachy
[[Methabolix]] --> Methabolix
[[YAPE]] --> YAPE
[[DYPP]] --> DYPP
[[Commodore Plus/4 Integrated Software Manual]] --> Commodore Plus/4 Integrated Software Manual

If the system cannot find the text in any of the tables, it will become an "empty" link.
