501 could be a Levi's reference?

Digital Ball: A closer look(tm)

We had a cover scan for this game, but it was overexposed. However, siz got his hand on a copy of the original cassette and scanned the cover, it's now up on the site in its full glory.

I decided to take a closer look at the game again, and found some (hopefully) interesting things:

- I'm assuming the cover artwork (painting?) was commissioned by Novotrade and had nothing to do with The Mad (the author). There's a signature on the side, but it's very hard to make out. "Hojner"? "Haiman"? Maybe someone knows this artist...

- The cover says 50 levels, but the site said 32 levels. I checked this again, apparently there's 33 actually. You can see them all online now here. The Mad apparently liked rap? happy

- Just noticed that the game has some hidden text, from $8B00 (never shown or used):

And from $8C00, the screen layout includes a Hungarian message, also never shown:

("Mit kukucskálsz?" Translation: What are you peeking at?)

"501's" also appears in the bonus game, and "501" appears on level 04.

While not the best breakout game for Plus/4, I still think this is a cool game.
