1986 DEC: Trailblazer by Shaun Southern was first created for C16/Plus4! This game was soon released on many other systems and it became one of the biggest selling games of the year. This was a unique and rare moment for the C16/Plus4, for once we had something so good it just had to be released on eveything else!

Biggest selling games of the year is a guess, it sounds good and I know that the game has a big fan base on the C64.

You might want to reword this one.
1987: Summer Events by Udo Gertz was the first software title to make full use of the screen borders with working game graphics. Events such as the Butterfly Swimming displayed in full screen.

1985: ACE - Air Combat Emulator was the first software title to feature digitized sound on the Commodore Plus/4.
1987: Terra Nova was the first C16 software title to feature digitized sound. The digitized speech was only used on the intro loading screen were as the Plus/4 version also featured speech in game.

1984. Nov/Dec: Commodore started to push the sells of the Commodore C16 with a unique TV advert being aired in the UK. (would love to see it again!!).
1984. Nov/Dec: Not much was know about the Plus/4, but for some reason Commodore released a Plus4 bundle with 11 games and 2 joysticks and it was selling £30 cheaper then the Commodore C16. The TV advert campain for the C16 was wasted!
1986: Udo Gertz was awarded 3 oskars by COMMODORE COMPUTING INTERNATIONAL for, Program of the year - Winter Events, Graphics of the year Winter Events and Programmer of the year - Udo Gertz!
loads could be added, much time and thought would be needed.

| Milestones in C+4 demoscene
Hi! As Lavina already revealed the fact, we are planning a Crackers Demo 5 subtitled 20 years C+4 or something like that. That should be a cooperation trackmo, with parts contributed by various active sceners and groups. The concept is that every part should somehow recall a milestone of C+4 demo making. Gaia already made a small list about those milestones:
1984. jan: Jack Tramiel announces C264 & 364 1987: first on-border writing 1990: first SFLI effect, first software SID converter 1996: first emulators appear 1998: plus/4 mailing list was started 2002. april: plus/4 world officially launched
etc.
Please tell me, what are the greatest milestones in C+4 history, especially focused on demomaking - and when did those happen?
