Cristina talked with us about that on Twitch. And that's why I included Cristina as a selectable character in Rock Star Ate My Hamster Millennium, right on the Commodore Plus/4!

I think many of us wanted a C64 and got a C16 or Plus/4.
Here in Germany they were just too expensive for a kid.

I came across this funny interview snippet with Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil fame (the relevant part starts at 3:58):

So her childhood trauma was getting a Plus/4 instead of a C64.  I wonder if there are any other famous people who publicly mentioned having been a Commodore kid.
