And take a look to the other program Pasta Blasta from Arcadia Software. Pasta Blasta contains as start screen the same screen as Mushroom Mania ...

 Re: Interesting find --Mushroom Mania

For the time being, I've removed the release date of 1983, as there's no way it could have been released for a 1984 computer back then happy

FYI, the 1983 date refers to the Oric-1 version, which was the original release. The words 'Commodore 16' are printed on covering stickers happy

Not a problem happy I have also emailed Csabo a copy of the cover scan for the site.

Also I found a game a while ago called Mad Maze, until recently I didnt realise it was a commercial release. So I have added it to this database and emailed Csabo cover scan, game screens and the prg file happy

Regards,

Chris

 Re: Interesting find --Mushroom Mania

The loader code reads as this:

99 PRINT"LOADING MUSHROOM MANIA PLEASE WAIT"
100 POKE55,0:POKE56,32:CLR
110 FORI=0TO16:READA:POKE12288+I,A:NEXT
120 SYS12288
1000 DATA169,1,162,1,160,255,32,186,255,169,0,32,213,255,76,0,32

Once run it loads of the tape, is there a way to change this to load the file off disk?

Chris so, you don't use to read posts here

Just read this post, must have missed it

On topic *** I was going to make a tap file of the tape but one of my cats has decided it would be fun to chew through it There are two files on the tape. 1st is a loader, 2nd is the game itself. I've copied the files to disk, but the loader file seems to only want to use the tape. I'll email a copy of the d64 to you and see if you can figure a way to get it working wink

 Interesting find --Mushroom Mania

Hiya all,

I was going through my single cassettes yesterday to rescan them all in. I came across a very interesting game called "Mushroom Mania", published by Arcadia Software in 1983. But I can't find a record of it published for the C16 anywhere on the web. See the scan below for further details..

Does anyone else have a copy of this?

Chris happy
