This version of the Winter Olympics was spotted on disk recently.

This time in a cardboard sleeve, not a jewel case. And it says "Water Grand Prix" on the disk label.
So Luca recently found a bug in Event 6. And I think there are even more errors overall.
Has anyone ever achieved a decent result in Curling (Event 5)? I've played it a few times now: the player's first throw is scored, but after that, all throws remain unrated, even though the computer's throws always get a score. Is that probably a bug too?

@Rüdiger most probably, the routine of the Event 5 gives back a series of predetermined trajectories, but it gets stuck on one of these, due to the impossibility of resetting some parameters.
As you asked months before, I'm packing a 64K crack of it, a useless but funny operation all in all, but, apart of the Event 6 bug, the flickery rasters, the NTSC compatibility, a better menu interface and the records saving, I won't even touch any of the many flaws and lacks: it's a crack, not a remake. Also, I challenge new problems at any new day making it, the last one is the possibility of an additional digit to manage in the Event 2, which may reach the hundred meters.
Soon anyway. Looking forward for scan and dump.

@Luca, this isn't meant as a criticism of your work. However, it should be mentioned here that practically all of Derek Reynold's programs (except for The Way of the Tiger) are practically garbage.
In Ski Jump (Event 2), there's no discernible logic as to how you can influence the actual distance in the game. The result is more of a coincidence, although I have managed a jump of 100.0 m before (unfortunately, without a screenshot directly on the Plus/4). But don't ask how.

@Rüdiger oh well I wasn't worried absolutely, there's no room for a criticism of my work here, I'm a saint already by handling this crap
And what about the complete lack of relation between the speed indicator and the real skater's speed ? :D
The Ski Jump event feels indeed like a bunch of bad coding, horrible design and wobbly stochastic. But there's a margin of possible challenge. This is what I've seen:
jump at the very last moment leaving the big slide;

thake that square spike in the snow as a reference point; from there, you have a very limited range in order to make you down-then-fire movement, the latter the better of course;

hundred will become a standard must, my PB is 151.0M; see the added text as a preview?
