Aaah, finally I can enjoy the charme of the glenzkefrens in the full Moire distorted glory of the Commodore 1701 monitor! And as I expected, Fixed Points shines of thousands colors on the real hardware! Congrats Murphy Poison and Hermit, and a blinking eye to bubis always present in the darker corner of every great production like awise puppeteer! Vote casted, of course!

Watched it again, having the blank lines between text rows explains it all. How cool such a simple charset trick can be.. Well done commander!

@Charles There is actually no real blank lines between the letters, because the font is 9 pixels high. But yes, all shifted letters are compressed into a charset.

Yes, technically similar. But in my case, the font is 3 pixels larger. But in MC's demo, there is not that much space between them.
I've never looked deeper into his code, but my guess is that he can only scroll with 2 pixels precision.
