VIC 20 VERSION OF TOM THUMB FOUND

I love TOM THUMB on the plus 4 its a great game compared to the c64 version which is rubbish compared to the plus 4 version. I have found the VIC 20 version not bad I like it as UDO GERTZ knew how to make great games and this was the best!

c16fan strikes again...

C64 version is great. Some one needs to port it over but using our lovely C16/Plus4 colour walls/bricks to finish it off. happy

Mik you're kidding, the C64 version is absolutely horrible lol. I find it overly difficult to being totally unplayable. No way should it be ported to the C16/Plus4. In fact the C64 should have a port of our superior version, minus the death bug and an improved SID version of the classic but bizarre music.

I have heard of a Vic 20 version but never seen it in action until now. Totally different game, not that good imho but because of its simplicity at least it seems to play better than the C64 version.

Just to remember that: you can find C64/C16/Vic20 versions of Tom Thumb into the "Various platforms early stages" disk, which had been sent in from the author himself several years ago.

Tom 64 is evolution in the making and I like the exploring side of it which was what Tom Thumb was all about really. I don't mind it at all, you could even stick our Tom Thumb in to the 64 version as you can see what Udo was doing to then pull it off properly on C16.

Not a bad effort by a school kid in 1984!

Something you don't see every day, I do as it's all mine, enjoy! grin
