 To Luca

In the spirit of the absolute retro-feeling, check out what used to be the 'official' plus/4 band according to Luca:

Ever wondered what the text was all about? Look no further, lol :-D

 Re: To Luca

Why exactly is Bonanza Banzai the official Plus/4 band? I've heard the rumour that they've used plus/4's as drum machines on their first album, but I'm somewhat reluctant to actually believe it... happy

 Re: To Luca

Yeah, because of this initial rumour, several SLD's converted tunes, so many digi demos and because of all the times we talked about them in the mags and I used to ask myself "Who the hell they are!?" happy

Dr. Death: We ain't calling you stupid, just keep in mind what Gaia wrote in the first post: it's the official Plus/4 band according to Luca. He already listed his reasons as to why we would say such a thing wink

 Re: To Luca

Err... :-DDD

Man, how damn hated I them back then... No sooner than, say, 2003 or so did I realise that they really had some talent or what, after all... but then I could listen to all of their albums (Bonanza had broken up around 1995). "Induljon a banzáj" was in fact the first public production of an all-three-members group whose members were all of the age of just about 19-20 and did all the popmusic and organizing work themself beside attending university. All the work (except for the effective studio-work of the recording) has been done with self-owned equipment... Note how expensive the synths and similar stuff were in Hungary around '88 or '89... ...With those conditions in mind, even the clip isn't that bad I guess...

 Re: To Luca

Yeah, the singer guy (Akos) has attended the same university as I. I might be wrong but I believe he has never actually finished it. I guess because of being preoccupied with "other stuff" happy
