I use it with XA1541 cable connected to serial devices chain (1541, 1581, +4). I'm able to do tranfers, but I experience many hangs.
It seems to me that the only way to un-lock some situations is to perform "cbmctrl dir xx". Particularly when 1581 motor runs endless. The command "cbmctrl reset" even if stops the motor, does not leave accessible the drive (result: device not present).
Another odd thing is that if I do not turn on my Plus4, many troubles more happens (hangs, not connextions, etc.). Spiro told me that I have too many devices on the chain, but I notice that adding the Plus4 makes better the system!
