Thank you @Csabo! Great info. Iwill definitely try channel 1, and will explain my new feelings.
I know it is tricky to put three SID channels on the two TED channels, there will be always a loss of content.
BTW I was looked for the right word, and chose a wrong one.
It is not "little displeased" but "a little disappointed", a slight difference. |

Yeah, these we converted without much care. I added some notes to the program's page if you want to hear the other channels 
Nevertheless I was also super happy that this "lost demo" turned up. Always such an amazing surprise to find old stuff we were missing. |

Great find! I check these musics, but frankly speaking I am a little displeased with the end result.
I downloaded the C64 version too and compared the two versions at the same time. I was surprised why the musics are so unrecognisable in the +4 version (in fact these ones are not my favourite Ben Daglish titles)
The best example is the "Cheers Bob!", that is the famous Commando High Score music. You just can'rt tell it based on the +4 version. what a shame.
In this release it is simply unrecognisable, because the 2nd and 3rd channel played only, the main music score not... well. I think if MB wanted to release good music for us, then please provide the main memorable leading tune too. If I remember well, Andras's converter switched between the channels, so almost all three channels you could hear sometimes. At least the Commando title in Andras release was well recognisable. |
