  |   Another possibility
Well, It might be the the so-called dead-zone handling. I use a constant of 20% in Yape. It's possible that this value is too low for your gamepad. It is indeed emulator-specific already, however, this is not yet configurable.... It's been on my TODO list... So maybe in a future release

  |   joypad in Yape
Yeah, I thought that might be the case and have already tried re-callibrating joypad in windows. All my pc games and umpteen emulators work fine. Just Yape has this problem, anyone got any other suggestions?

That's not Yape related, but Windows related... Open 'Control Panel'->'Game controllers' and there you can recalibrate your joystick.
  Success!

  |   Newbie question about Yape
  Hi all,
I'm new to c16 emulation and have been trying all the emulators. I've found Yape 042 to be the best, (running Windows ME) However, I was wondering if there is a way to configure the joypad? My joypad does work but is constantly tapping upwards, making it impossible to play some games.
Can anyone help? Great site by the way
