 Description | Rij Test, Brands Hatch and Track Test are all essentially the same game, with minor changes and language translation. Which came first?
It appears that Rij Test (the Dutch language game) is the original. Here are two proofs:
1) The title. In the Dutch language game, the game's title (top line printed on screen) fits perfectly. This is the case for all other games from Spelcassette games. In Brands Hatch, someone simply replaced the text, but did not fix the line length. The stars are misaligned and hang over to the second line. Making the line centered and neat would have been an easy fix!
2) The REM lines. In the Dutch language game, there are 5 lines of remarks, which contain the original creator. In Brands Hatch, the text from the lines have been removed... but not the lines themselves. |
