Category
Programming/General

Topic
Basic: The 264 family had built in Commodore Basic V3.5. There are also many commercial and freeware basic extensions, including a Basic V7.0 extension.

Machine language/Assembly: The computers also had a built in machine language monitor, called the TEDMON. The TEDMON allowed users to program the machine in assembly language out-of-the-box.

There are third party softwares that allow you to program the machine in additional languages. These are: Logo, Forth and Pascal.

Special packages are available too: AUSTROSPEED (Basic P-compiler), BALSYS (enhanced B.A.L. language) - (See Plus/4 World software library)

With cross-platform development it's also possible to program the machine in C.
