What Is The Commodore 116?

Topic
The Commodore 116 was another member of the Commodore 264 family (What Is The Commodore 264 family?). It was the original target device of the TED project, which was intended to compete with the cheap Timex-Sinclair computers (its rubber keyboard was actually inspired by the ZX Spectrum's keyboard). It was originally intended to be sold in the US at a price of just $49. In the end, it was released in Germany only - although some stores in Hungary had them available (possibly imported from Germany). It had 16KB RAM, just like the Commodore 16, but it had a much smaller, Plus/4-like box. Its rubber keyboard was difficult to use - most would agree that the keys were a big negative.
