I have a CMD FD-2000 but have not tired to format any of the HD floppies on it using the Plus/4. I know that it will work as a standard 1581 if you give it the HEADER command. I just don't know if the CMD formatting software that comes iwth it will work on the Plus/4.
In any event.....it's $159 US$ the last time I checked and worth the purchase!
