It sounds silly for me. Most of the emulators have totally different output. Can you emulate border under PC-DOS? I can on Amiga. I see no reason, why to store even this, user should wait a frame... (Is that so hard to do?)

Another wrong idea, I think. In my emulator ROM have patches, which work wrong on other emulators. There are no too much kind of ROM images, and those are almost the same, just minimal differences can be explored. (An other file-size rising feature?)
