Hello Joe,
first thanx for your reply and tips.
Unfortunately all the tests you suggest in the SC txt guide went off.
Even starting by a DOS boot floppy, I'm not able anymore to have a 1541 read by latest SC beta
(always a lock till I press ESC (manual timeout) or till I turn off my 1541.
Note I performed good transfers until some weeks ago, and I don't know why now the same thing is become impossible :(
Is there any other attempt I can try (except the build of a XE1541 cable)?
Sorry to bore you again with these problems,
and if anybody has an idea, please tell me :'(
