| | Description | WheelOfJoy is an Open Hardware 8-player joystick adapter for the Commodore 16 and Plus/4. The board plugs in the User Port, which means that in order to use it on a C16 or C116, you will need a User Port card like 16UP.
Only one button per joystick is supported, see its smaller brother, WheelOfJoy Mini for a variant that supports 2, but with only 4 joysticks.
This hardware is compatible with Solder's 3fach Joystickadapter, and thus with the game Tron 6: two joysticks on the regular ports, a third joystick via Solder's SID Card, and joysticks 4 5 and 6 connected to ports 7, 6 and 4 of the WheelOfJoy.
An 8-player hack of the same game, called Tron 8 WOJ has been released, in order to use all the ports of the WheelOfJoy.
BombTank by Haegar was the first newly-released game supporting this board.
