Anthony Guter, ex Mastertronic's Financial Controller, confirmed that no C16 version of L.A SWAT game had been released or projected. This is his answer to my email:

I am glad you enjoyed my website. There was no C16 version of LA SWAT. As you guess, someone on the magazine made a mistake, or perhaps it was mentioned in a piece of publicity but these were often wrong. I'm sorry to disappoint you
