I think it would be fun to have an online chat sometime. The guys (and gal) of comp.sys.cbm do that once a week, usually on Sundays, through IRC.
We could "borrow" a room from Yahoo to avoid messing with IRC. As far as times, I'm thinking Sunday late afternoon or early evening for Europeans which would be mid to late morning for Csabo and me.
Any thoughts, questions, or further ideas?

i think the main problem with #c64friends is that start time; i believe the majority of people here are in or around GMT so unless they're hardcore caffeine addicts like me they'd be in bed at that time! =-)

That's why you can come early or late to #c64friends and chat unofficially. A lot of people don't follow its official times.

#plus4 on ircnet has been around for a while and it is usually frequented by 2 or 3 people, sometimes more. There is no reason not to come there..

Pls tell me how make setting in the webbased chat. For example to text scroll is not automatic, so that when the page is fill, one has to manual advance by clicking on the vertical bar.

A better solution is to use a proper IRC client, for example Xchat, and connect to IRCNET.
