Try using Novaload, that is a very relieable (albeit a bit slow) turbo loader. If you save it in full wave MTAP format you can use an X(E)1541 cable along with a C64 to transfer it to a real tape. Novaload among other (mostly half-wave) turbos is downloadable from my site.
