 [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

Cronosoft will release soon a couple of TMR/COS titles running on +4: Reaxion +4 version, and the C16 version of the Vic20 game Lunar Blitz.
Here we can see some screenshots from Lunar Blitz:

To be strictly accurate, Lunar Blitz is a C64 game that's been ported to the C16 and VIC20... =-) Reaxion Plus/4 got a bit of attention yesterday, it's now got a functioning titles page and the game logic is all there...

Is there any chance that XeO3 might make it to Cronosoft?

Argh! Oooff! You killed me Mosh!
We need a little reminding session:
- Mike Dailly has no time
- Though, Mike Dailly considers _not_closed_ the project
- Hence, I'm continously in search of a sparetimed coder

Let me get this straight: you have to pay money for these software? No free downloads? Anyone copying them will be breaking copyright? They are considered warez?

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

Bzzzzt! Wrong answer. =-)

Or at least in my case it's the wrong answer because, although the Cronosoft releases on the real deal will come first i'm going to be adding both Lunar Blitz and, when it's completed, Reaxion Plus/4 onto my website about a month (or possibly two) after their initial releases for free download. The idea is that, for some people at least, the experience of playing new games just as D64 files isn't the same as having a physical tape or disk with a case and inlay; that's what you get with the Cronosoft version and for those who just want to play the games they can get them online.

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

i'm sort of thinking about more stuff to code... no idea what at the moment and i should really get Reaxion Plus/4 to a state where it's just lacking music really but i've been thinking about software sprites... =-)

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

TMR: personally I'm very curious about the Matt/COS music: the +4 really needs an important TED music editor, and we all had heard the very interesting Ikaruga tune.
I hope a TEDmusic editor will be released once a day...

Personally, I don't mind paying a nominal amount for the nostalgia factor, case, tape, inlay...

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

4-Mat has left Cosine recently, he's not got enough time to do 8bit stuff more than occasionally and felt it was for the best;- i'm not sure what his plans are for the music driver, but i suspect he hasn't the time to write an editor around it.

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

Mosh: the price of both titles will be two quid (same as Reaxion C64 is on the Cronosoft site for reference).

 Re: [Cronosoft] First +4 releases

2 quid is about 6 Aussie pesos, pocket change. I spend much more on chasing some titles on ebay.

I hope Chronosoft does really well, 2 quid isn't a lot to support the retro scene.
