If I am not mistaken the demo makes heavy use of $ff1a/1b in hires mode. Congrats for actually using it in a demo! I have been wondering for years why nobody ever used this. The only effect I know of is the "linecruncher" in Dr.Deaths demo "Brainwash".
Ok, now somebody else please do some nice Tech-Tech, a fullscreen picture crunch/zoom, FLI scroller etc, its not that complicated after all 
The digiplayer is really a nice feat, maybe it can be extended to load from disk while playing because the short sampleloop may be a bit annoying after a while
