 plus/4 verses +4C

I have a Plus/4 that reads "+4C" (the C is a Commodore C) rather than the plus/4 on the keyboard above the top row of keys. I have never seen this before. What is the significance of this? just curious. I assume that this is a later model, but there is no serial number on the computer. someone must have removed the sticker.

That' most likely an early Canadian NTSC model. Are you from Canada? Or maybe Australia?

It is definately a Canadian unit. One of the first production runs of the Plus/4 was for introduction during the 1984 Olympics, of which Commodore was a sponsor of Canadian Olympic teams.

A photo of the unit and box can be found on my old Stormpages site under "Production Machines".
