I very much doubt it, although I've come across an E-bay auction the other day where they were selling one with a serial of 000007 (!). How come one surfaces in Holland all of a sudden?

Because they were liquidated from Commodore's Nieuw-Vennep facility in the Netherlands. Reference Cameron Kaiser's history of the 264 series here.
