...that the next release of VICE will have a lot of fixes in xplus4. The demos in the C16 compo all run well, except for the MX entry with 4x4 fli. Sound and palette was fixed, the rasterline bug was fixed, and more.

that's a good news, but a nonworking FLI still means an incorrect processor cycle and/or TED emulation

Yes I've fixed a lot of the bugs added a few features, but still not consider it as beta yet. Most of the games might work, and some disk turbo loaders as well.
MC you will have the right to criticise when I say that it reached 'beta' status, until that it should be considered work in progress.

You dont need to criticise VICE Plus/4 just because of coding bugs!
Becuase it should of been started years ago and I find that the biggest bug of them all
