Ok, let's try this new feature, me too.
Digi demos are always been considered the B-series of the demo categories, any lamer can digitize a slice of sound at any given quality and release it as a proper "demo" (e.g.: I did it, easy peasy!). But the real non-lamers were used to pack some consistent and highly rated remixes which were worth of more of a loading (from the very prolific Hifi to the quality challenges against memory by Csabo).
During 1998 – one of the first "poor" years for any retro scene, Plus/4 incliuded – NST came out of the blue craning out from the top hat this little gem. It begns to trackload while FLDing a big scrolling, and the quality of the digis is high and LOUD. I loved it since the first loading, and used to run it dailly, as it usually happens with your prefer demo of that timerange.
Nowadays I know that BGM Ariola, Oxigen Studio and all the other marks were not cited randomly, given the (somewhat) promotional intent of that product for a real music cd release.
Probably a rarity for several of you, give it a try. |
