Also, would it not be possible to just use a general purpose transformer that can give the same voltage? Because they are pretty unwieldy beasts. You could substitute the powerpack-to-computer cable from the Plus/4's power pack, or you could use one of the estimated 20 million C64s to remove the power connector from the motherboard, and put it in the Plus/4.
