Kissé elhavaztam a témával, jelenleg a meló (pláne, ha határidős) fontosabb mint a hobbi. Az ünnepek között azért haladtam egy kicsit szerencsére, a módosításoknak már látom a végét.  Hogy mikor sikerül elindítani a gyárt(at)ást, arra egyelőre nem merek tippelni, remélem hamarosan.
A jelenlegi verzióról csináltam pár képet a helyére csatlakoztatva, mindezt egy roncs alaplapban, hogy a lényeg látsszon is:

Eléggé passzentosra sikerült az élcsatlakozó:

Erről nekem olyan emlékem volt, hogy a nyák "keskeny része" egy kicsit kilóg a csatlakozóból. (Ahova esetleg bekanyarodhat az esetleges doboz széle, így megfogva a kártyát, hogy a gépből kihúzáskor az ne maradjon bent.) Na, hát ott nem sok hely maradt. A képeken látható szélesség lesz megnövelve 1.2mm-rel mindkét oldalon, így a doboz ott majd meg tudja fogni. Ezen a szélesítésen nem lesz alkatrész, sőt: egy-két jelenlegi alkatrészt is beljebb csúsztattam, így talán több hely marad; nem kell annyira pontosnak lenni a dobozméreteknek.
De a lényeg az egészből: a projekt halad, nincs elfelejtve senki.

The SID card project is a bit overdue, but currently work (especially if deadline nears) is more important than hobby. During the Holidays, fortunately, I made some progress, I can see the end of modifications. I dare not even guess when I'll be able to start manufacturing, but I hope soon.
I took some pictures of the current version, having the card connected to a junk motherboard to better see the important things:

The edge connector turned out to be quite tight:

The "narrow part" of the PCB was hanging out a bit in my memories. (And the cartridge case could grab the card there so it wouldn't separate from the case and stay in the connector when being pulled out.) Well, there's not much room there. The edges on both sides will be increased by 1.2 mm (~0.472") so the case can grab the card by them. There will be no components placed into the area of widening. Some components got shifted towards the centre so maybe there will remain more room. Therefore, the manufacturing tolerance of the case may be a bit lower and the card still could be fitted.
So here's the gist of all the above: the project is progressing, no one is forgotten.
