Fantastic news!
Finaly, after years of debate and discussion, someone managed to (re)desgin an external 64K RAM cartride for the C16 computers, that may work theoretically with the C116 too.
Pasquale De Luna from Italy made it possible again, available as KC16BOOST.
When I restarted my 264 activities, and looked for the "real HW", I did not look for C16. I like the shape of C16, I really like the hard and noisy buttons more, but for me 16K RAM is not enough any more. The scene told that external RAM is not possible, so I gave up looking for C16, as it is hard to get a person nowadays make internal upgrade (but I got few nice offers from the scene in the last 1 year, so many thanks!).
Nowadays working C16 became rather expensive too (100-150€, yay!), but at least there is an option now to upgrade it without modifying the mainboard. First to buy a C16 now

Bought that just for curiosity, and due to the relative low price (35€, via eBay). Gonna test it soon. Pasquale lives in Cabras, Sardinia, so a certain time to get the envelope is required...aaah how much I would be on the Sardinia shores right now!
