Really?  Nice to hear that, I was almost sure that QBparty was mostly for high end machines, but now I see that there's an oldschool compo category to be joined with any generic release.

Sülysáp is around 56Km from my home. I could go there too, but I have no real interest in PC scene events. Dunno, I will think about it. And I'm quite antisocial ya know, hating ppl & mass and all kind this stuff

I don't really have any interest in any other scene activity than 8bit, mostly only +4 and 64. So we go to watch that part of the show and to chat with plus4 guys.
Of course Arok is a better choice in this sense but if we'll have this demo ready in the next couple of days then why not releasing it now?
EDIT: Final touches for the demo we would like to release at the party. I hope it will be a small but pleasant surprise tomorrow. ;-) Small spoiler: it will be a coop demo of 3 plus4 groups.
Also, BSZ confirmed he will come to the party.

Thanks. Well, technically it’s a trackmo, because it uses trackloader to load in the background here and there while interrupt is active (music, effects are running from interrupt). From the implementation side (design, flow), there is little content to make a ‘proper’ trackmo of it. It’s something inbetween, but closer to trackmo, I guess. . You don’t have to wait 10-15 seconds for loading between ‘parts’, gfx and effects come one after the other more continuously, not like in a classic megademo. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks for your kind words in the name of all of us. It was really a privilege to work together with such great coders as BSZ and Murphy, and it was really a good feeling to see two GOTU graphicians being active and motivated about the demo. Also, celticdesign is a very great guy who is really happy to have his music with us.

One small hint about the mysteries of the demo.
The end part pattern (top and bottom of the screen) is actually a sanskrit writing - except for my sign (rotated) - and has a meaning

Ok, so the endscroll pattern says the demo's name (Waiting for Promised Land) in Sanskrit language.
Csabó was referring to an Easter Egg part that he had found. Anyone else?
Further help: You have to wait for it at the end of the endscroll after you did everything well before.

Only had to wait a few years and I made a new version of this demo. This became the "final-final" version (hopefully). The primary reason for the new version is that it can now load from an SD2IEC drive.
But since it's a new version, I've added some fine tuning that my eyes/ears have been missing. I changed the timing in a few places and corrected a few errors in the end text. But the hidden parts are still available.
