I love how the pattern of some bad guys can change the harder you push, like a bad guy might be out of the tube and fire sooner so you have to change your play. Very neat! 
The fact it remembers what you kill and collect is also cool as well, it so easily could have been a reload and restart all over again every time you die type game. Thank the makers for that feature! 
EDIT:
I reached 2-2 for the first time and got killed by Mr Nasty Grin. It's pure luck I got a nice round score of 60k! :)
