get a 128 power supply , drill 2 holes in it and install both the plus4 and a c64 plug and you will have a repairable good quality 3 way power supply
that is the best way to build your own

Ray Carlsen builds new, heavy-duty, North American power supplies for the Plus/4.

I've learned all Commodore power supplies are a ticking time bomb. How many 64's were killed by supplies going bad.

Take a look at Ray Carlsen's power supply page: http://personalpages.tds.net/~rcarlsen/custom%20ps.html

You want the very top left one (BB-64, for the C64) plus a Plus/4 adapter. Email Ray at rcarlsen@tds.net for current pricing and shipping charges.
