@sandor: leave it to me for the real machine test, I'll run it and report the values straight from the screen  After worktime, in some hours...
EDIT: here are the results from my real Plus/4:
PAL ONLY: 14986.9384
PAL/NTSC (the video goes nuts and I can't read the result! let's run/stop+reset then PRINT C/A): 17211.0569
emulators == real iron !
