 YAPE 1.0.1 Is Out!

After more than 8 months, at last. It certainly felt less than that. There are not many new features, but the support for the lightpen is certainly an interesting one. Note, that not the commercial joystick port variant (Trojan lightpen) is supported but a different one that plugged into the user (RS-232) port. It has better quality software support.

The changes in this release are:

- Homebrew user port lightpen support
- IEC drive directory mode now recognizes USR files (.USR extension)
- Win95 compatibility problem with the OPENFILENAME struct size fixed
- TED sound bug correction
- Watchpoint & monitor fixes
- Printer reverse mode bug fixed

You can grab the release at the usual place: Yape Homepage or check the Yape page.

Thanx for the new version!

A minor bug: with default settings (with Advanced settings.../Immediate exit by... checked off) pressing F12 does nothing. With checked on state it quits immediately (as designed).

Kichy: thanks! That's not really a bug, rather how I meant it to be. Or do you think it should replicate the behaviour of the ESC key? happy

 Re: YAPE 1.0.1 Is Out!

Well, the behaviour of F12 seems inconsistent now. How i mean:
Shortcut for File/Exit menuitem is F12. It quits immediately (using the menuitem). There is an advanced option where you can alter F12 behaviour (quit immediately...). Its opposite should be "or quit NOT immediately" but its now "does nothing". So, F12 should ask "are you sure?" exactly like the ESC as you wrote.

Hi!

Just an idea.. Can you implement pc mouse as cursor keys and left click as shift? if yes, i can draw with a mouse in Multi Botticelli.. i have doubts about the sensitivity but i'll give it a try if there is any chance..
thx

Great Idea. At least we should not keep suffering by moving the joystick. Quite difficult to move him.

It is important to make a "turn on/off" switch as well. I'd be very anxious if YAPE captures my mouse everytime I click on it wink
Oh and what about "set cursor to position where i click my mouse"?

Have anyone noticed problems with Printing (IEC-mode), with this recent release?
Thank you.
