Then another clone has shown up on XBOX 360 indie game scene. More of a Rick Dangerous mind, but with 1000 lives it is out to kill you make no mistakes!!!

What a wonderful looking game, I'll have to look out for it. It does seem more like Tom Thumb than Rick Dangerous.
I had a love/hate relationship with Rick Dangerous, was so hard.

If you think Rick D was hard your going to be in for a shock because 1000 Spikes is fast and even harder. 
I loved Rick D as it made you think and you had to learn from your mistakes. I never finished it, making it to the last level 4 in the German Castle and gave up. The Amiga/ST versions has extended levels for each zone, but your find the best of the best was kept in the smaller versions like the C64.
1000 Spikes would be a nice game on the Plus/4 as it looks so suited to our machine and not far off from the style that was done with Adventures in Time even tho Adeventure in Time has more colours on the screen!
