Hi,
I inherited my cousin's plus/4 when he got an Amega and loved it, which is why I was so delighted to find this site. I've tried to play two of my old games on-line - Fire Ant and Icicle Works. However, no matter what buttons I hit on my laptop, I can't get past the "Keyboard or Joystick" question on FA and while I can load up IW, I can't get the little elf to move. Any suggestions?

You should press C to select the desired control. If you selected keyboard control (default), the "elf" can be moved with A, S, P, L and the SPACE keys.

I think first you should make sure that you can type at all into the Java emulator. I suggest trying a text adventure game:

Like Lacoste said before, and as the page itself says, you have to click the emulator window itself for it to gain keyboard focus. Once you've done that and the game has started up, there should be a flashing cursor, and you should be able to type.
Can you check if that's working or not?
