When I'm not logged in and read in the forum I see [edit] behind some topics. For instance in the AROK thread I get the [edit] button in Pepax' postings and in Krona's (not in Chronos').
Though, when I click it, I get "Sorry, but you are not authorized to use this feature.". So it's nothing to really worry about.
Is this behaviour caused by some caching? I'm not sure but I think yesterday (before you fixed the edit-issue) this didn't happen.
Edit:
In this very thread I get the [edit] button in MikeZee's posting when I'm not logged in.
