I saw the Redsoft & Kidsoft note as well, but that could mean "cracked by", and the original is a commercial release. However, after digging a bit more into the game it's quite unlikely. Several messages are badly worded, so it's probably homebrew software.
There are 5 rooms. The room directly to the south from the start (hall) has an exit. I guess the game should score your efforts once you try to exit. I've seen some result messages in the code. However, I haven't been able to win or even lose yet... The game seems to hang a lot randomly.
Something else: like I said what got to me was the point-n-click interface. We should start tagging software with such tags. The groundwork is already there, we just call them "effects" now, but something like this is not an effect. Wouldn't in be cool to see a list of all software released that had this?
