 Re: 4-votes springtime!

just checked, a nice music, but little short.
BTW, that digi-emu sounds very nice, I do not know, why not everyone uses that, eats too much rastertime? Or everyone tries to force his own C64 converter? (OK, native SID also become common, but if the good old TED can also produce such a good sound?).

 Re: 4-votes springtime!

MMS, the waveconverter uses digitized sound slices to partiallty imitate the SID in its basic functions, and: yes, it eats a ton of machine time while running, and generally eats about 8K in memory. You can download some of them just here at Plus/4 World, and try'em by yourself.

 Re: 4-votes springtime!

I am done this woting session also. Just decided, that we won't leave our current flat, so I will have a lot of free time again happy

Luca, a good reply to your answer is one of my fav SID music, "Lemme eat the rastertime" happy
http://www.hardsid.com/s.php?Lemmie%20Eat%20The%20Rastertime%201c7c

Yeah, I suspected, that it needs a lot of power from little +4, although I still saw during the voting session other -not so old- demos used much worse SID-emus on Ted than this one, and there were not so much effects.
Well, if I ever finish any demo (probably a more comprehensive slideshow of concept cars, converted by Plus4Emu converter, but fully redrawn by me), then it may use such a digi-emu, and one of the last years SID music winners (certainly only after authorization).
