 Re: Plus/4 World on Facebook!

Guys, come into FaceBook, that would be a quick way to keep in contact and have immediate feedback.
I'm thinking about starting a little thread on FB where to post some permitted snapshot of unreleased stuff (other authors don't wanna their stuff to be revealed, and I won't reveal of course...).

"Unrevealed Plus/4" on FB Plus/4 World's group!
All the preview stolen lost and found stuff (if the author did'n asked for privacy) you've never imagined. To start it, some snapshots of the Darron Broad game early stages, and the video of "Myth"'s lost preview!

"Plus/4 World" group on FaceBook: HERE.

Myth intro's video and Darron Broad game's early stage shots on "Plus/4 World"'s FaceBook group.
Other rare and unreleased shots are coming soon! Sign in!

Why FaceBook too?
Facebook offers the choice of a faster contacting between users, playing a different role than a forum. The Plus/4 World's forum will be our prefer discussion place forever, a FB group is for stuff like immediate feedback, very useful for active ppl which code, make arts, need hardware and so on. Ah, and you can enter a compo or a coop with a deadline as an event!

 Re: Plus/4 World on Facebook!

So you are saying those 25 Angelina Jolies in my friends list are real? Man, life's good :D

These so called web 2.0 communities have all pros and cons. More pros for all those hobby stalkers out there wink Sometimes I wonder if people know about IRC, usegroups and all those things that we used for social networking before web 2.0 took off.

SVS, you can still read those FaceBook discussions, it's not hidden for non-members.

Speculations don't change the aim of that social network, and that's the argument I communicated to SVS happy

 Re: Plus/4 World on Facebook!

I'm sure you can make your address etc. private for you and your "friends". Although I'm not sure if people in a group are counted as friends - I suspect not.

 Re: Plus/4 World on Facebook!

Don't get me wrong, FaceBook is just not my cup of tea. I know it serves others well happy To many friends it's almost synonimous to "being online".

That bob routine discussed over there is interesting. Reminded me a bit of animation in general. No use for every single frame to be a pixel perfect still image.

 Re: Plus/4 World on Facebook!

Found as deleted files in a diskimage, these parts did not see the light, maybe because the author judged'em too simple. The video is an arbitrary sequence of different fixed files.

Yeah, I also like those parts. Maybe I am not well educated on Plus/4 demos, but for me those effects look great, even after watching the top 10 megademos.
