Yape can work without the DINPUT.DLL (Windows message queue input method) but it is linked against it so you can not start it up... (I could make it load dynamically but it needs work and precious spare time which I prefer to spend on more useful things  )
Anyway if all fails, you can download the DLL itself and place it into the System32 folder:

(I haven't tested them though it looked like the XP SP2 version)
