Have to say I second Csabo in a way. Jailbaby talked very well, and I really missed the dance-on-demo-tune-flux at Arok this year happy
I think the real difference between the scenes is Fragility: a strong C64 scene can keep up after serious bumps, because there are a solid pedestal of past software, a long history and so many users all around. Maybe Perrf is finding a place for a crystal vase into a shop of elephants.
I'm a bit tired to explain to the c64 sceners why we tried to put TED sound in our demos, and I'm tired about comments like "yes the demo is so-so, but the music (simply taken form a previous c64 release andplayed via SIDcard) was so cool"; its own countrary is deadly too:"the demo was pretty cool, but that horrible music...".
