 Re: Starburst Level 3

Thanks at the first to C16 Chris for full scanning the cover and Csabo for upload this!

Now we can all read the full instructions ... but I see nothing that the bonus level after level 1 is the same as level 2 oder behind another level.

On the backside of the cover you can see a screenshot of level 2.

 Re: Starburst Level 3

I think we must scan the full cover of Starburst for the instructions ...

I read in the instructions this (at the instructions for level 2):

"... On Completion you will play a Bonus Round with the Guage time remaining."

But where stands that this is the same bonus round as after Level 1? I think it is the same bonus round, in the memory are at least 3 different levels with his own rules, and the bonus round have his own rules, too, you can not die at this. (From the same author I've played the game Hyperforce, this contains only 3 levels.)

And my ask was: Has someone seen Level 3 in the game?

And to answer Rüdiger's question, the inlay card says that the bonus round is the same on all levels.

 Re: Starburst Level 3

I've had a look at the instructions on the inlay (which are ridiculously complicated) and you have to (somehow) do the following:

You first have to shoot the mesh holes at the top and bottom until they start flickering. When the yellow one is done, your bat is extended. You then have to deflect the coloured balls into their appropriate slots. As soon as you touch a coloured ball, the matching colour bar at the top (which represent your 'lives') starts running down. If you touch the other coloured ball, that colour bar runs down instead.

Once you've deflected the balls into the holes, you then have four smaller stationary balls in the corners, which you have to touch with the remaining grey ball. But if the grey ball touches the coloured balls' holes, those balls are loose again and the four small balls disappear. (And so on...)

And that's just the first level :/

I never got into the Tony Takoushi games. Too damn hard and dodgy collision detection (particularly in Frenesis)

I don't get the game (after playing with about a minute). What is the objective? What are those lines on the top of the screen?

 Starburst Level 3

Has someone seen level 3 in the game Starburst?

I've played the game, but sometime there is a bug in the bonus level from level 1. you can not finish the bonus level and start level 2. Is the bonus level of level 2 the same as level 1?
